Saw Iron Man then grabbed dinner with friends. Other than that, It’s been a pretty a good day for rest and relaxation.

Saw Eddie Izzard perform tonight, and he was hilarious. Also got to go with an old friend that I hadn’t had a chance to hang out with in ages. All in all, it was a really great night.

I’m still recovering from the rope making last night. There’s definitely a reason I try to take care of the craft segments on the weekend, when I tend to have more free time.

This week’s craft segment is finally here! I wasn’t able to put aside enough time to spin up a decent amount of bamboo thread so I used some handspun hemp that I had laying around. It’s left over from when I first started spinning hemp, so it’s not the prettiest or most consistent, but I think it gets the point across. I included a picture of the finished bamboo rope from this Monday for comparison.

Running late with the class tonight. Very interesting presentation on adaptive relationships. No rope segment again. Don’t worry though, tomorrow is all planned out for a much more thorough review of the process.
